Breaking The Blog Silence... with an urgent request

Here follows an e-mail I received today for what feels like the hundredth time. Finally I've realised I ought to pass it on:

Hi friends of BCS!

We have an URGENT prayer request and encourage you to pray and also take
action by sharing our needs with as many others as possible this week.

We are facing a huge teaching staff shortage and are praying hard for
people to come to Bourofaye Christian School in Senegal. BCS has classes
from Reception to Year 11. Next year there will be 87 students from over
16 different missions organizations. Their families are reaching out
with the gospel to hundreds of people in West Africa.

BCS urgently needs 5 more full-time teachers. Currently we have 6
full-time teachers for September 2010. Normally by this time the staff
applications have been processed and staff are well on the way to come
in late August.

People don't need to be qualified teachers to work here -just willing to
teach.

BCS also needs a male dorm helper, caterer and nurse.

I have attached an information sheet and it would be great if you can
send this to all your contacts, put up the sheet in churches, spread the
news wherever you are this week and promote the needs in any way you
can.

People can take a look at our school website to see more about the
school. www.bcs-senegal.org

Also, if a nurse or secretary were to come this would enable some
existing staff members to teach more. We are looking for willing people
to ask how they can serve.

If you believe that mission is important and know the value of education
then please act now on our behalf.

In anticipation of miracles!
